This website provides a place where my study of poetry, song and essay writing, critical theory and cultural theory meet.   Over the last twenty years, my poetry writing has grown into song writing and recording.  I have been working toward a form of writing, similar to hyper-text prose, which combines my recorded songs with prose writing to make a kind of illustrated poetry (song lyrics)/ music/ essay form that expands our traditional understanding of genre.  Advances in computer technology and internet accessibility make this possible.  My work will combine Critical Theory, personal essay, song-writing, music production and on-line publishing.
